VEGAS CREW!!!
Our friends set up the most wonderful bachelor/ette party for us! We split up the first night so that the girls could do their own thing (DANCING) and the boys could do theirs (GAMBLING ?) and then the second night we combined for a night of fun-filled adventures! They had us running around the strip on a crazy scavenger hunt of dares and we got into some pretty awesome situations. I highly recommend combining your parties if you share the same group of amazing friends! VIVA LAS VEGAS!

Rock ‘n Roll Bride (again!)
My Ladies
Last Saturday I had a luncheon for all the girls in my bridal party as well as some of the very important women in my life! We had it at my mom’s house and she did such a wonderful job of putting everything together. As gifts for all of the ladies in attendance I embroidered each of their initials onto a vintage hankie along with the date of the wedding. I also gave each of my bridesmaids a strand of vintage pearls to wear at the wedding. It was just such a beautiful day filled with love and laughter.
Hair inspiration!!! Hopefully soon I’ll be getting together with my darling friend Aubrey who will be doing my hair and make up for the wedding so that we can do a test run first. Since I’m making a birdcage veil similar to this one, I thought that the hairstyle was perfectly vintage. I can’t wait to play around and see what she comes up with!

We haven’t been posting a lot of stuff lately because now that we actually know what we’re doing, we don’t want to give too much away. We want everyone to be as surprised as possible! But don’t worry! I’ll be posting some pictures soon of possible flower arrangements and some reception ideas just to keep you guessing :)

I had my final dress fitting last wednesday just to make sure everything fit perfectly. My mom and oma came with me to watch the alteration lady explain how to bustle the train so that they can pin it up after the ceremony. It looks absolutely beautiful and I’m so glad that all of the alterations are done! Now all that they have to do is clean it and I’ll pick it up the week before the wedding! So exciting!

Stuff is happening!!!
So I know we haven’t had any updates in a while but things were kind of at a standstill. But now within the next couple of weeks we’re getting a lot accomplished! Tomorrow we have a phone meeting with our site coordinator, thursday we’re having our food tasting, next wednesday I have a dress fitting, and we’ve been talking with the florist and bouncing some ideas back and forth! Invitations are out and so now this thing is happening for real! Everybody has been so wonderful and supportive of all of our ideas, and I can’t wait to see how everything turns out! <3

I need to stop drinking coffee at night. I lay in bed tossing and turning thinking about how I’m going to do my hair or what color ribbon will be tied around my bouquet or what kind of candy we’re going to get for the candy bar or what song will play when we cut the cake or what we’re going to do for escort cards or what color nail polish i’m going to wear or … stuff like that.
